Well it's been two weeks since the Moonwalk, time has just flown by and I completed the Moonwalk in 9 hours 45 minutes!!!I met some of my fabulous Facebook Moonwalker friends and one of them, Jennifer did the whole walk with me, bless her for that I honestly couldn't have done it without her!Unfortunately during the last mile or so it poured with rain and we got soaked and my partner Steve missed us finishing which I was gutted about. Also unfortunately I was suffering with a horrible chest infection so wasn't feeling well and when over the finish and getting my medal I suddenly couldn't get my breath and had some sort of panic attack. The WTW team were fab making sure I was ok, and when I got changed them came out of Playtex City to meet Steve I unfortunately couldn't get my breath again and poor Steve had to get someone from WTW to get the paramedics. After sitting for a bit I was ok but it was very scary!!I'm so glad I did the walk again and have made some amazing friends and can't wait to do it again next year!!Just ordered my finishers t-shirt today!
It's 4 years today since my mum died from breast cancer so been thinking of her today. Hope she is proud of me, I did it for you mum, big hugs xx
