Wednesday 22nd October 2008 First traing walk!

I finally got confirmation of my place in the 2009 Playtex Moonwalk in London for the Full Moon! I did my first Moonwalk this year which I completed in 11.5 hours!I sadly lost my mum to breast cancer in May 2005 so this charity is very important to me. My place for next year was confirmed on Saturday October 18th at 7pm!!!!How excited was I! It was a nerve wracking wait though! This time I have decided to start my training much earlier and to get fitter and lose weight! I need to lose about two stone to get to a healthy weight. Went for my first training walk today around my local park in Worthing walking nearly 3 miles and dragged out my partner Steve with me bless him! Was very cold though so the winter training is going to be very hard!
